It's true -- any dyno will spin the tires, do some figuring and print a graph. But some can do more than others. Here are some facts:

Mustang Dynamometers are unique. All Mustang Dynamometers are loading dynamometers designed to duplicate real world operating conditions. Our patented control system uses eddy current power absorbers to load a vehicle exactly the way it would be loaded on the street -- including wind resistance, which is a significant factor in high-speed testing. Mustang dynos also feature a load cell to measure the power being applied to the rolls. Without going into a lot of theory, a Mustang dyno gives you a real world tune, every time.
The Gladiator is capable of testing cars, diesel trucks and
even motorcycles (with optional attachment) up to 150 mph
and 1,000 hp.		 The MD-250 boasts a 1,200 horsepower measurement capacity and 750-hp worth of loading capacity. With up to 1,500 horsepower absorption capacity, the MD-600 can handle those sophisticated performance tests you used to turn down or send elsewhere. The MD-800-I/SE is ideal for tuning and measuring power improvements from performance modifications.
 
 
With a capacity of 2,000 HP at the wheels, the 1100 is large enough to handle 99.9% of the street cars on the road today. The IMPORTDyne is capable of measuring up to 2,250-hp in power sweep mode and for tuning purposes, the SE model provides 400-hp absorption capabilities. The MD-1750 makes tuning a vehicle to its max potential a reality with 2,000 hp measurement capability, The MD-1750 can handle any car you want to test.  
 
The MD-AWD-Gladiator Series is particularly suited to testing purpose built high performance AWD automobiles, such as the Subaru WRX STI and Evolution The MD-AWD-500 Series tests both axles of the test vehicle under the same imposed load; while at the same time provides for a front-to-rear axle synchronized speed. Whether its a 2wd or Awd car, a 4x4 truck or a motorcycle, the MD-Awd-1100 has the ability to test any street or track vehicle. The MD-AWD-IMP Series chassis dynamometer is the first of its kind - offering all of the benefits of an AWD eddy current dynamometer in a large roller configuration.
