Leave it to Mustang to design an AWD dyno that gives you the best of all worlds in one machine. Test the fastest 2WD dragster with a pair of 50” rollers that can be de-coupled to test at speeds of up to 250-mph. Test AWD vehicles with a mechanically linked front and rear roller systems that ensures you will not damage your customer’s expensive vehicles. With the AWD-1750, you sacrifice nothing and have a dyno that can handle literally any and every vehicle that could potentially drive up to your shop.

The MD-AWD-1750-DE incorporates two powerful eddy current PAUs that give you loading potential to 1,200-hp for steady state EFI tuning and controlled acceleration rate testing. Perform 1/4 mile sprints with dead nuts accurate times with Mustang’s patented Virtual Inertia Technology and Vehicle Simulation Mode loading. Enter the vehicle weight and hp at 50 figure (for aerodynamic losses) and the closed-loop controller takes over, applying just the right amount of resistance to the vehicle to duplicate the force the vehicle experiences on the road or track.

The standard MD-AWD-1750 will accommodate vehicles with wheelbases ranging from 80″ – 134″ without any moving parts. The fixed and mechanically linked rollers allow you to center the rear wheels on the 50″ set of rollers and allow the front wheels to sit anywhere on the 3 or 4 belted set of 12.625″ rollers. By being mechanically linked, all rollers spin at the same speed and the potential for catastrophic drivetrain damage caused by front and rear speed differences is eliminated. You can test the vehicle with all four wheels spinning at the same speed without worry.

An air-actuated de-coupler allows you to switch between 2WD and AWD modes with a click of the mouse. No moving parts to handle AWD wheelbases range from 80-134″.
