| For the fully equipped shop, nothing provides better in-house motor vehicle testing support than the Mustang MD-400. With 775 horsepower capacity, the MD-400 can handle those sophisticated performance tests you used to turn down or send elsewhere. And your MD-400 can be equipped with a second set of test rollers for simulating road conditions on four-wheel drive vehicles or tandem axle trucks (requires locked differential). The MD-400 uses eddy current power absorption units (PAUs) with air-cooled, frictionless operation and infinitely variable loading. A complete control and data acquisition system - including a wireless hand-held unit so operators can control the test from the vehicle - lets you design a wide range of tests and provide both on-screen and print-out results. While designed for in-ground installation, the unit can be installed on the shop floor and used with optional ramps. |
